Digital Installations
I create digital installations from traditional documentary photographs, time-lapse photography, 2.5-d parallax portraiture and image animations.
The imagery is converted to video that is layered with natural sounds, interviews and a soundtrack.
The installations are created to stimulate conversation within communities.
Each project involves engagement with populations that are geographically connected to the subject matter through audio-visual workshops.
The Energy+Notion digital installation, shot in Wales 2016, with funding from Arts Council of Wales and Vatennfall, shows how energy change in Wales has dramatically affected the fabric of society.
The project was screened in theatres, cinemas, community groups and schools in south Wales and was featured in The Guardian and the Western Mail.
The ongoing project, “Motor Mouths”, delves into the UK’s automotive industry and it’s associated landscapes.
