Digital Humans, seen here, captures the movement of commuters in dense urban centres using high-speed video.  Footage is reconstructed revealing extended periods of time rather than a single moment.  The process removes all architectural signifiers leaving only the “digital humans” who are often immersed in a smartphone. Digital Humans explores how continuous digital connection changes our relationship with the world around-us.  The physical world disappears into linear patterns and humans become warped and stretched. People are surrounded but alone; increasingly connected to their smartphones as they unwittingly become part of the “surveillance capitalism” economy.
